The Oberg Family Trip: Kansas City

Every year Erik and his dad (both cheese scientist) have ADSA (American Dairy Science Association) and every year (if it's not here) I beg to tag along.  This year it finially happened! Since Erik's dad also had to go, and Erik's brother Bennett lives just 3 hours away, they joined us, as well as Karli who lives in Oklahoma and Jake and Jessica who were living in Texas for the summer.  Sadly, Taylor and Crystal and the girls couldn't make it, hopefully next time!

We drove about 10 hours to Kansas City, and here is what we did!

  City of Fountains
We went to Schlitterbahn Waterpark and had the time of our lives!

Followed up with some delicious Kansas City BBQ
 The kids loved Legoland

Had a little R&R in our amazing hotel room while Daddy was at conferences

some more swimming

Enjoyed the Power and Light District
Posed in the lights at the WWI memorial

And the kids had the best time with their cousins!
