My mom came out just in time to help with the craziness at the beginning of October. Violet was about to go on Fall break for a week and it was also her last day of school before we moved. She came down with Norovirus and was sick every other day for 2 weeks. My mom helped with the girls, helped clean my house and get it ready for showings and get it listed on the market. She helped me haul the three kids out for the showings, the list goes on and on. I honestly couldn't have done it without her. We got the house listed, had 5 or so showings in one day, right before the last one the garage door broke, fell off the hinges. It was a nightmare! Our realtor Mark Jackman is on hell of a guy. He ran over, called his garage guy and they fixed it moments before the last showing of the day. These people ended up buying our home. They put an offer in, so did another family. It went back and forth and went above asking price. What a blessing! We didn't have to have anymore showings, my mom flew home, Violet was still sick but things were looking up! Her timing couldn't have been better.
During showings and while Violet was "Better" (or what we thought was better) we headed to the mall and dinner
Violet on her last day of school. They were doing a fun run, I made her go to school to say goodbye to her teacher and friends, I came to watch her run and she said she had diarrhea all morning at school. Oops! Poor girl. Her teacher said half the class had this virus, it was spreading like wild fire!
