Let us not forget about the holidays in March this year. I bought these dresses for the girls and was waiting for the weather to shape up for them to wear them to church. Lo and behold, St patty's day was on a Sunday this year, so they arrived in style, and in green.
Violet kept talking about Sofia the First and her kite, so the leprechaun brought her one. (immediately after this picture Violet went and changed into her nightgown and pink boots. Surprise!)
It was the perfect day for flying kites, in our own backyard!
Over spring break we went to the zoo with some friends
Elsie LOVED the carousel
Violet? Not so much
But she did love the "train station" as she likes to call it
We are missing one here, but we each have 2 girls, 6 little girlfriends total
Gotta love that hair. And that face. And those legs.
the Saturday before Easter I planned a little Easter egg hunt in our backyard with some friends. It was quite the success if you ask me!
our yard goes to the fence in the back, way passed the play house and tree line so it was perfect for an egg hunt
And some boring egg dying pictures, but Easter would not be complete without them
Violet loved it so much, she wanted to hold these two eggs all night.
Easter Sunday
Trying to get some decent pictures
(Elsie had shoes, but her fat feet wouldn't stay in them, and I kind of forgot to buy Violet spring/summer church shoes. So Jellies it was!)
This pictures perfectly sums up their relationship. Violet talking ever so sweetly to Elsie, and Elsie pushing her away.
Hope everyone's Easter was as perfect as ours.
